PineyBrake
What do yall think happened to his rack? Do we shoot him? He is awesome except that he is only a 3 point on one side. What are some of yalls ideas about why and what to do with this deer?
njbowhntr
From the angle of the picture you can not see the rack that you are talking about. At least I can not. I am heard before that the deer could have some kind of injury on the opposite side of his body from the 3 pt side. It is the whole left brain, right brain thing. toddyboman
I would say injury. Or it could be an old buck on his down hill slide....but hard to tell if that's the case or not with this buck. Do you shoot him that is your call;) Here is one a few years ago off my farm.....Really have no idea what happen to him but this is what he grew..... And this was the only pic I ever got of him and I never saw him while hunting:rolleyes:
wtnhunt
The deer on the right side is the one I am assuming you are talking about. Guess the choice to let him walk or not would depend on what else I knew was around. Hard to really say what happened to his rack from looking at that pic. fly
Genetics or injury would be my guess.
Texan_Til_I_Die
Regardless of whether its age, genetics or an injury, he doesn't look very healthy to me. I'd shoot him the first chance I got.
backwoods07
Injury is a possibility. I've seen some really crazy racks caused by injury on the opposite side.
