Dakota
You're not in a Hunter's Choice State/Province are you, Shawn? Down here we can take either a hen mallard/a pintail/a canvasback but the harvest of one cancels the harvest of the others. Aside from that we can shoot 2 Gadwall, 2 Red Heads, 2 Woodies or a limit of mallard drakes. Neat pics man! Dakota

Ontario is divided up into 4 different districts. At my grandma's it's the central district (where these birds were taken) and here around home in the Ottawa area is the southern district. http://www.cws-scf.ec.gc.ca/publications/reg/index.cfm?prov=ont〈=e
stevebeilgard
our hunter choice goes like this: you can have up to 100 points. a drake mallard is 10 points. drake canvasback is 10 points. hen of either specie is 90 points. two hens and you're at/past your limit. works real well on keeping the hens safe and the drakes in the bag. yes, of course there are the cheats who will shoot a hen, then shoot 6-8 drakes and tell the warden they shot the hen last.... there are liars and crumbs out there even in the hunting world.
