toddyboman
About 2 or 3 weeks ago was the last time I looked at this RR bean plot......Then the plot was knee high and looking great. We went to look this afternoon and here is what it looked like.....:eek::eek: I was shocked and amazed.....Across the fence one way....oh less than 300-400 yards is a BIG corn field......then the other way is a big bean field...... Needless to say I put a camera up immediately.....So hopefully I will get some good pics.
dogdoc
awesome---next year put up an exclusion cage so you see the difference.
wtnhunt
Our beans are really getting hammered around the edges here right now Todd, eaten about to the ground. Still a lot of corn and beans in around us, really hoping our stand site on the beans will payoff.

I started to do that.....but didn't......sure wish I would have now:rolleyes: I did early in the year put up some plot saver stuff....No the REAL plot saver but a homemade type.....And it did seem to work.......Maybe I should have left it up a bit long:eek:

wtnhunt
Beans in the ag fields around here are yellowing and looking rough. This drought this year has been unreal, our water hole I dug about 7 years ago has never dried up until this year. Last year it got pretty low, it is completely dry now. Our eagle seeds soybeans planted in the bottom are still thriving despite the drought.
