As have the Pens. They just seem to flatten out in games that they really, REALLY need to win.

VERY poor passing game on Pittsburgh's part.

I disagree Don. Pens outplayed Carolina for the most part. Outshot them bigtime, got more chances....Cam Ward won that game and the Pens got stuck with a dead tired line at the end of the powerplay in OT. Not to mention, Sid gets a 200 foot breakaway and Geno gets a penalty shot...if 1 of the 2 best players on Earth get a goal there...game over.

I disagree Don.

I disagree with you disagreeing with me.:D

The Pens had way too many turnovers in the Canes zone. Too many hurried passes without having a man.

Agreed. But you can "outplay" a team for 60 minutes and still end up in the "L" column. :(

Yep. That happens all too often, too. Geno's farted on at least 2 penalty shots in the last couple weeks.

I wouldn't worry too much about the play of the Pens. this is a team that NO one wants to play in the first round ... Montreal seems to be getting thier act back together as well, which is bad news for my B's ..

I hope the league see's fit to do something about that idiot Avery, what he did in that TV time out was totally unacceptable IMHO ..

Didn't see it.

What now??

During the TV time out Thomas was kneeling and stretching at the top of the crease when Avery came up from behind and cracked Thomas in the back of the head with his stick ,, and then skated toward his bench like nothing had ever happened ..:rolleyes:

Of course you know that wasn't going to go un noticed by the B's and the may lay ensued ..:D
