JaySee
I use the string splitter on mine and it allows me more light than any of the other peeps I have used. I really like it.

The videos and articles I've read about them seem to speak highly of that type of peep site . What do yaw think ? I've shot the string splitter the most of this year. It works just like a regular peep but does give you a better sight window. The negatives that I have noticed is it seems to add extra vibration (noise) to the string, which adding string leeches can take care of. Also if it doesn't settle in just right with your loop you have to adjust it before shooting to get it perfect. It does a good job but I am considering going to a different style of peep. backwoods07
After talking to a few pros about the G5 Meta peep, I was turned away from a two point anchored peep. I've never used one, so I guess I'm basing my opinion entirely on their testimonial, but they said they are unreliable and often twist out of line or even fall out. I would assume that this peep may have the same potential for problem? I use the yellow 3 anchor in line peep (made by TruGlo if I'm not mistaken), and that seems to get the job done
Guest BusterBoy
I'm gonna see if I can find a picture of that Tru Glow peep you're talking about . 3 anchor points , can't imagine .

Here is a pic of the type of peep I use. Couldn't find the exact one, but it's basically this one but clear yellow/green to allow more light. Guest jdsbuckfever
i use the g5 peep sight and i love mine. i have no trouble with it at all. it lets in a lot of light in low light conditions.
Guest J-Daddy
As far as a peep like the G5 Metapeep coming out of the string, well that could happen if you dont serve it in. But I'll promise you that if you serve it in right it's not going anywhere. As far as the "Pro's" your talking about....Well every Pro I know shoots this style of peep. Now some of the TV Hunters might not, but I'd still say 98% of them do too. Now onto the String Splitter....I used the Mini SS for awhile this year, it does have it's advantages on a hunting setup. It opens the feild of view up alot and lets alot of light in which would be good for low light situations...That being said that was also the biggest problem I had with it. The feild of view was to big for my taste, it allowed me to see to much around my sight ring and it hurt my accuracy because of it. Now keep inmind, I dont practice like 99% of the other whitetail hunters out there, if all I did was shoot at 20 & 30yds the String Splitter would be great, but I like to practice out to distances ranging from 80 to 100yds. When I started shooting the String Splitter at long range my accuracy fell apart. I just had to much area to look at through it and it allowed my anchor point to float a bit to much because of that. I can shoot a 1/4" round peep sight at that range and be ok, but with the open bottom on the String Splitter I just fell apart at long range. I think it all comes down to what you want to do with it, if your setting up a hunting bow and wont be shooting past 30 or 40yds this String Splitter is great, but if you plan on doing alot of long range shooting I think a more traditional style peep works better. ruttinbuc
Looks like just another hyped product to me...Thought maybe I wanted to get one to try, but then why change something that didn't need change in the first place....
