This year is GONE. This weekend is the start of the Tulsa state fair. I can hardly wait to see whats fried on a stick this year. :D The only reason we go is to eat fried junk and walk through the IPE and look at displays and stuff for sale.

However, this year our oldest is almost three. She is really going to enjoy it. We will have to go see all of the animals. It should be a good time.

Anyone else have a huge fair they to go every year?

We have a sister who lives and breathes the NY State Fair. We've been there a couple times since we started living here.

The food is not a big draw for either of us.

One year I did find a "Blue Ribbon Winner" in one of the craft booths. It was a handmade lifesized Harley motorcycle...made entirely out of wood:eek:

Every single exterior part was made to the exact dimensions as the parts on a real Harley MotorCycle.

I love the fair!

When you go, stop by the Head Country booth in the Oklahoma building. If there's a pretty blonde working, it's my wife JaLynn. She helps her Grandma Betty work that booth most years.

Really! Thats cool! When I was working for Universal Steel Buildings we built Danny's new facility.

I love me some head country.... :D

Sounds like a great time...glad to hear you're feeling good enough to go!

Haven't been to a fair in many years....think it was 1992, Wisconsin State Fair in Milwaukee....when Samantha was 2 and Casey wasn't born.
