Jeramie
This boils me a little. Gundy and Bob Stoops made the list. Gundy (Oklahoma State University) took up for one of his players. He blew his top but rightly so after a local paper was running one of his players down the road on a personal level. To me thats a good Coach. Then at number 8, Bob Stoops?! He is an awesome coach with a wonderful track record. He has the respect of his players and all those affiliated with football... Yet he is number 8!!!! Who in the crap is writing these online articles?
Guest Andrea
Was Steve Spurrier number 1???

Gator
Was Steve Spurrier number 1??? As a matter of fact!!!!!!:D:D 6 of the top ten are from the SEC, is it coincidence that the SEC has one of the toughest conferences going??:D And YES, Urban Meyer is on there, for "whining" in 2006 about getting THE Gators in the BCS game, amd we ALL know how THAT turned out!!!:D:D:D

toddyboman
not real surprised by any of those coaches being on there.
MCH
Gundy surprises me a bit. Just because he's not that high profile and the only blemish on his record is the rant where he was standing up for one of his players. But, he was chastising the media, so this is a little payback, I guess.
Tominator
Was Steve Spurrier number 1??? Had to be. That guy constantly whines, throws stuff, sour puss, etc.
dogdoc
Spurrier Rich Rodriguez Miles Tuberville Gundy Saban Mike Stoops Bob Stoops Meyer Rich Brooks That's a list of some pretty darn good coached--however Gundy and Mike Stoops has yet to prove anything as a head coach.
