VTbowman
I had gotten the Mead version out of Cabela's a couple years back for a x-mas present. Not bad but the ones I got have got some draw backs. One of which is no flash and limited pixel count. I was under the impression it would take pics threw the bino lenses not a seperate lense inbetween. Hense no zoom photos either.
dogdoc
Re: Binocular/Digital Camera combo I have the meade and have been pretty happy with it for the cost of the bino/cam. Not much for printing pics but look fine on the computer and easy to use. The binocular is a 10X and the digital camera part is a fixed 8X. todd

popgun
Re: Binocular/Digital Camera combo I have the Simmons Capture View. 2.0 MegaPixel. I got them for $185. at Binoculars4Less. I've gotten some great pictures with it and the optics are great. they are a little larger than the others but have a better view in low light 8x42. I've also taken up to 6 min. video without a memory card. With a memory card I really haven't figured how many pictures I can take before downloading and starting over. It's one of the fun toys to have with you when you get bored in the stand or want to show someone else what you saw while hunting. Simmons is made by Meade. you can see them at http://www.binoculars4less.com/detail.asp?PID=17899 It won't take pictures up close. My son took a picture of me with a couple of deer I killed and had to keep backing up until he was about 50 ft. away. It still took a pretty darn good picture. popgun
Re: Binocular/Digital Camera combo Here is one picture with my Capture View 8x42. It should be much clearer but the camera was too close to the subject.
AdvantageTimberLou
Re: Binocular/Digital Camera combo I got the Bushnell model and got it for $49.00 dollars. Its a 10X25 binocular and the camera is rated at 8X. Never took any pictures yet with it but plan to soon and will post them. I like the binoculars though and should come in handy this turkey season.
