HANK WHITT
Hey Guys, I Was Wondering If A Wsm Round Is Any Better For Hunting Verus A Normal Caliber Round.
Tim Andrus
Good question , except I dont know!! LOL! Maybe try our rifle room and one the gun buffs there can answer it better.
stevebeilgard
me either, tim. i haven't a clue. but the rifle room is the spot to learn... now, in reality, i think the new short mags are more hype. i like the old calibers. i shoot a 270 mostly, may use a 7mag on moose and bigger, sold my 300 weatherby, and just don't much care for the new calibers. jmho
AdrianJHare
I'm not sure if any better is the right word, but I do however own a 270 WSM and seem to use it over my 308 now. The gun has a bark and seems to level the bullet better in my eye's. What I have noticed is that the proper bullet type is very important for the game you plan on hunting....
