HANK WHITT
i want to start filming my own hunts. i am planning on getting a good camera arm for the tree and a tripod for the ground. i also seen these mounts and cameras you can get for the bow and guns and one you can wear on your cap. do you think these would be ok to use or would you stay with the camera arm and tripod.also if the bow and gun mounts are a bad idea would it be best to just carry your camera around your neck when stalking. thanks hank

RackBlaster
I have used a bullet camera attached to my hat and my camera in a hip pack. The video and sound quality was excellent, but the only downfall is that you cannot zoom. For the best footage filming by yourself, without worrying about movement and noise (especially in a stand) this is a great setup. If you need details on everything you need let me know. wtnhunt
Dont have any of the cap or bullet cams, just have a sony handy cam here and a window mount attached to a rt ez hanger as my mount for hangon and climbing stands. The setup I am using works ok, but there are much better mounting systems out there. Can be complicated filming by yourself, had issues myself just yesterday that kept me from getting what would have made for some awesome footage on our opener, but the deer will be back.
