fly
I sort of thought most of the country would see it as a split. Obama on the economy and McCain on foreign policy.
wtnhunt
Think McCain did fine, but don't expect that the debate last night will change many opinions of the undecideds.
Strut10
A pretty bland debate IMHO.
stevebeilgard
i thought they both did well. true, i believe obama was lying thought his teeth, but he did it well and convincingly. not many minds were changed. in fact, obama probably did better overall with the undecided vote. obama did well with not stuttering, umms, ahhhs and awwws. i look forward to the vp debates. palin will kick butt. wtnhunt
Unfortunately the mainstream media will likely not give any coverage to this, but Kissinger has put out a statement verifying that he agreed with McCain on the idea of presidential meetings that Obama so adamantly contested McCain on. So, yes Obama was either lying on this or was totally misinformed.

MCH
Couple of media outlets are saying that Obama won last night. One even went as far to say that two more like this, and election day will be a snap for him.

Didn't see the crappy temper but did see McCain be more aggressive than he's been. Wouldn't blame him tho if he showed a temper with Osama continually misquoting McCain lying about facts. I see Kissinger has come out and said McCain was right and Barat was wrong. I did see Osama do his fair share of interrupting and rolling his eyes - not very attractive or complimentary for a lawyer who is supposed to be trained and adept at debating. In fact, that's the only reason he's as far as he is - he speaks well. Most people buy into his crap because he sounds good, tells a good story and they don't take the time to check out the crap he's putting out. Leo
Both candidates will conserve their ammo to discredit each other until the last debate. The Kissinger issue was a Major blow for Obama's credibility. Kissinger himself came forth and stated uncategorically McCain had gotten it right about what he said. That's significant and irrefutable. Make no mistake! Obama was a player and contributed to the current economic crisis. Watch the videos I've posted. I've been wondering awhile now where Obama got the money for his nomination campaign to defeat Hilary Clinton's eight year accumulated war chest. She was supposed to be unbeatable in a campaign that went the distance because of the money she had accumulated to run and ended the race IN DEBT! Now I know who is filling the pockets of a freshman Senator who was essentially off the radar until the democratic nominations began. McCain has plenty of ammo for later debates. He's saving it so he can completely thrash Obama.
johnf
a man that is PATIENT and waits his turn and doesnt let his emotions make him look like a dictator... "Sure Mr. Akmadinijad, I understand that Israel is the scourge of the Earth, bbbuuttt wwww ww ww ee ssh ssshhooollddd.................. I wander what the Cuban missile crisis would have been like with President Oprahama comrade? That's the worst part of Obama beyond his complete left wing fanaticism. He has no backbone. I swear Dennis Kusinage looked tougher to me that Obama.........dang, that's sad.
