Guest lugnuts
I have an Mossberg 500A pump shotgun that I have made a 3inch steel shell for and set screw in the barrel so it will not come out when the slide is slid back. I am 100 percent legal in the fact that I load this gun from the muzzle therefore making it a muzzle loader. I have loaded the gun with 15, 00Buckshot, which would be the same I think as a 3 inch magnum buck shot. I have currently been using black powder but I am getting low on it, and I have recently picked up a pound of Hodgdon Titewad smokeless shot gun powder. Would I be capable and safe to load this "muzzle loader" with this using the powder guide for the powder that I have. I don't forsee a problem with this as long as I am using the information giving and load it just like I would a general 00Buckshot, the only difference being is that I would be pouring the powder down the barrel and not into a plastic shell casing. I would apprciate any information and thoughts on this. Thanks
ZooBear
How do you fire the powder?
Guest lugnuts
I use a 209 primer, The steel shell is identically made with the same measurements as a regular shot gun shell. The 209 primer will fit directly into the back of the shell.
