Strut10
.............my last two Lamar Williams box calls came Thursday. One is a mahogany and walnut double check. The other is a poplar and walnut double check. They both sound absolutely awesome!! The cedar inlay in the poplar call's lid also has a yellow swirl through it like I've not seen on a Cost-style box. Gives it a nice little bit of unique character. Lamar's calls are truly works of art and have the distinct pedigree of being made by one of, the master, Neil Cost's only two personal protege's. If you're in the market for a truly collectible call and are in no particular hurry to get it................................you might want to give Mr. Williams a ring.
