wtnhunt Posted September 29, 2008 Report Share Posted September 29, 2008 Have gotten just a handful of pics of these little guys over the years running trail cams, and have seen just one in all my years of hunting. Got more pics of them in the last few days since relocating some limbs and fruit from a crabapple tree at our mineral site. Thought is was pretty cool that we got three in one frame. Yes those are gray foxes. I've seen a bunch around our farm, actually had one jump the string when I tried to take him a few years ago. Nice pics William! I have only seen one in my life and I had the 7mm and thought there wouldn't be enough left to mount if I shot it. However if you just so happen to stumble on one of them and want to give it a new home, let me know I would love to have one mounted. LOL. Dont suspect I will likely see one during season Randy, but if I do I will likely take one granted I have a shot. It is a whole 'nother game to get into with traps and such. Maybe invite a trapper to trap and share the booty. Those were cool pics none the less. Dawg Posted October 7, 2008 Report Share Posted October 7, 2008 Cool pics. I shot one about 3 years ago while hunting. Called it in with a hog call. Once I took a closer look it had something terribly wrong with it. Had hair missing from it's neck region and had scabs on it's skin. I don't know if it had got into a fight or had the mange or what.
