Born4it
For those that know better than me (most!), what would you expect to pay for a full season lease (Oct. 1-Jan 15; bow and shotgun) for 180 acres in west central IL? Just curious...thanks! If this topic belongs in a different place, by all means move it! Thanks Take care, Ryan
rad_112176
It truely all depends on what the land has. Fields, Woods, Pasture. I would say if you could get it for $10-$15 a acre i would probably jump on it. That is if it looks like a good piece of land. We lease a piece of land in Southwester IL and we pay right at $10 per acre. Don't be surprised if it is much more though.
ildrhntr
We have a local guy who owns ground and he charges a tresspass fee of $1,500.00 and you can hunt his ground the whole season. Me I would hunt public ground and spend the money on a hunt out west.
Born4it
I'm actually finding out for a friend, but I think they said it's about half tillable and half timber. Thanks for the replies! Keep them coming!
