Flintlock1776
What is this deformity all about?
Buckslayer
Some deer have fatty deposits on the front of the sternum that appear bulbous, though this appears to protrude more than usual. Possibly a benign cyst or tumor... just a guess.

Buckslayer
Well, I won't shoot it 'cause I don't want to eat it if it has any weird growth The meat should be fine, unless it is an infected wound from an injury... personally I wouldn't worry about it (wouldn't eat the growth itself though ;) haha).
