strubedog
The buzz is this gun is coming to the shot show and will be available early summer. Not sure what they all changed but should be interesting.

strubedog
Re: Beretta Xtrema2 Is that sarcasm I hear in your voice Updating or striving to improve is a good thing. Sometimes you hit a bump on the way. Weather it is the medical field or vehicle performance etc... I welcome forward thinking and change. Hopefully they spent time working out the bugs before bringing it to market. I welcome change if it adds something "I" see as a benefit. AJ
Re: Beretta Xtrema2 Hey now, think of it as a service. We offer sarcasm at no additional cost to you. I like change and forward thinking too. I just wish they would think it out correctly the first time. Thats why I rate the Rem autoloader higher than the Beretta. In 20 or 30 years, I will still be able to get parts for the 1100 or 11-87. Try that with the 3xx Beretta. Lets go back in time 100 years. Remington made the Browning Auto-5 from 1905-1910. In 1911 they brought out their own version of the A-5 called the Model 11A. They produced this gun until 1948. In 1949 they brought out the Model 48 which was produced until 1960. Their model 58 ran from 1956-1963. Guess which one came out in 1963? Yep the 1100. It is still in production in one form or another. The shooting public wanted a do it all gun so they came out with the 11-87 in 1987. Its still going strong. So thats 6 shotguns over 100 years. Not too bad. ===================================== Beretta 1977-1982 - AL-3 1982-1987 - 300/301 Just 10 months the 300 became the 301 and became the 302. 1982-1987 - 302 1988-1996 - A-303 1992-1999 - AL390 1993-2003 - ES100 2000-present - AL391 That's 7 guns in 30 years. It looks like every 5-7 years they need to fix what they didn't do previously. There is no perfect shotgun for everyone. If there were, gun manufacturers would be out of business. It's the different strokes for different folks that add spice to life and make it interesting. Hang in there Buddy. So are you getting a new Xtrema2? Strut_Buster
Re: Beretta Xtrema2 Well since its better than any Remington. AND in most cases built better. I'd go with the Beretta

strubedog
Re: Beretta Xtrema2 Supposedly it is 1.5 pounds lighter then the current one as well. Will I get one, I figure I need another watergowl gun. In case the urika breaks but will use both in flind for cripples or geese. Can never have too many shotguns. I have thoroughly enjoyed my urika.
