HOYTnMUZZYboy
I went out today as it's the Illinois bow opener, and I put the thwack on 2. Both were does. I let the Hoyt and muzzys do there work. 30 yard clear shot. Double lung shot deer went 30 yards and expired. The first deer I shot was at 25 yards, took out one lung and liver, she went 15 yards and expired. Talk about a great first day out!!! I went out today and told myself and my Dad I was going out to harvest a doe so I could concentrate on a few big bucks i'm after. Well i'm one happy hunter let me tell ya!! I have some pics to put up later today. I'm goin out to check out some more property.

HOYTnMUZZYboy
I will attempt to my pics up when I get back in tonight from hunting. I'm taken my Dad to my best stand tonight since he dosen't get to hunt much due to work. It's a set I hung after catching some monsters and a ton of does on all summer, so i'm gonna flim him tonight. Crops haven't changed so i'm hope'n we get somethin in range. He said he will be happy with a doe the first day of the season, but i'm really hope'n he lays the smack down on a nice mature buck!! Like I said I will try and get those pics up. I know there is a post somewhere that tells how to do it could someone post it on here or pm it to me please (sorry I still havent figured out how to do that after being here for how long lol) Gotta go get Dad's scentblocker out of the dryer its time to perch up in a tree! Hopefully there will be more pics to post tonight!!

HOYTnMUZZYboy
Ok so update on lastnight, had a blast filming my dad. First time we have been in the same tree together since I was like 8 years old, even tho I was above him it was still alot of fun! We had about 25 min. of shooting light left.. when what looked like a 140- 150 class buck stepped out of the corn into the bean field at 450 yards (rangerfinders and binos are amazing:D) . I swung the camera around and turned it on and it said that the light was to low. I had all sorts of words running through my head. But to make a long story short the buck never did come within range, I called my buddy and had him ride down the side of the bean field about a quarter a mile away and scare the deer off the field so he didn't see us. All in all it was a great hunting with my dad like in the good ole days again. I'm gonna try put the pics up tonight sorry I have been busy deer hunting non stop since yesterday. Hopefully I can figure it out haha.
