stevebeilgard
i think she kicked butt tonight. in fact, i think she saved mccains bacon. other than the obama factor, i'm not sure saving mccain is a good thing.... i say the polls go up for mccain, starting tomarrow. Team Realtree
She did great. She does connect with the average folk. Was proud of her.
oldksnarc
I think she did awesome. However, I flipped over to MSNBC after it was over. The liberal pundits said she did a poor job and kept going to issues other than what the question was and lied time after time. They failed to point out that the moderator said a couple times that neither one answered the question asked -- and Biden lied thru his teeth on several issues. wtnhunt
She did just fine. From what I heard polls should reflect this debate in a positive way for McCain/Palin.
JJL
I for one am getting tired of the Sarah Palin Show. Soccer Mom, Energy Producing State, Special Needs Child, Working Mother, Same Problems as You, Greed and Corruption, over and over and over and over. You've got FIVE weeks to earn my vote. Start swinging. McCain screwed up by voting for the Bailout package, if he'd voted NO ............the election would be OVER TODAY. Now Sarah has to bail him out. Nice Mommy ain't gonna get it anymore...........time to see the "Pitt-Bull". If McCain/Palin want me to believe that they can fix Washington, they're going to have to start acting like they can. She could have BURIED Biden last night simply by stating...... Joe with all due respect, you've been in Washington for over 30 years, You're part of the PROBLEM. MY $.02....................I'm still voting for Alan Keyes. Until someone else steps up.............so far that hasn't happened.

wtnhunt
She could have BURIED Biden last night simply by stating...... Joe with all due respect, you've been in Washington for over 30 years, You're part of the PROBLEM. I think you are right Jim to some extent Jim. Don't know why she did not come out and say just exactly that in a more straight forward way, but all in all I think her attacks on Obama were pretty effective overall and she did mention Washington politics of old (kind of indirectly pointing the finger at Joe Biden) being to blame for several of our current issues. oldksnarc
She could have BURIED Biden last night simply by stating...... "Joe with all due respect ...the Community Reinvestment Act (Carter in '77 and Clinton in '95) and the Democrats blocking attempts to reform the CRA by President Bush in 2003 and McCain in 2005 are the reason the mortgage and financial markets are in the crisis they are today." I don't understand why they won't point the finger at the problem.
Texan_Til_I_Die
Maybe I'm finally getting those flashbacks they warned me about when I took those drugs in my youth.... But last night as I watched Sarah Palin look straight into the camera and address the American people, I felt exactly like I did in 1980 watching Ronald Reagan at the Republican National Convention. And Joe Biden? Well, he just seemed like a small and mean person.
smallmunster
Palin's biggest problem is McCain. He refuses to name the dems that were in charge of the Fannie/Freddy fiasco. Some of whom will be in the cabinet if Obama wins. Sometimes I wonder if he wants to win. Another problem is that some of the issues that Palin could hammer Biden on would also be hammering McCain. McCain is lots better than Obama, but he is far from my first choice. His refusal to do what needs to be done and said is going to cost him the election. Dems have succeeded in making the need for a bailout a republican mess when it was dems that were at the controls a lot of the time and dems that blocked reform. Some of those in charge should be in jail, not high up in the Obama campaign.
ildrhntr
I Think She Did Very Well, However I Am Afraid That It Might Be Too Little Too Late To Save It For Mccain. I Am Very Troubled By The Idea Of Obama As President. I Guess Time Will Tell.
