muggs
Wow, you can cut the tension in that place with a dull knife. Talk about people sitting there waiting to lose. No wonder their pitchers are pressing and struggling with control and their infielders are kicking the ball around. Talk about playing tight. I've honestly never seen anything like it. You're at a playoff game...be loose, have fun, enjoy it. It's comical. Stick a fork in 'em. btw- props to Kev. You've said it all along, that's an underrated Dodgers pitching staff. MCH
Underrated by you, maybe.:D The Dodger's have, I believe, the best team ERA in the NL. Their bullie ERA is almost 1 full percentage point better than the Cubbies. I'm excited about our chances of closing the Cubs out in 3, though. Chavez Ravine will be rocking and if the Cubbies were nervous at Wrigley, they'll be shaking in their shoes Saturday.
toddyboman
Cubbies are done :D:D Really thought Lou would have them playing better.....guess not.

muggs
Underrated by you, maybe.:D No, by a lot of people. Sure, the stats may be there, but you didn't really hear people toting their staff like, say the Angels and Cubs. I think they'll beat the Phillies too. I'd like to see Blake get a ring, other than that I'm pulling for the Rays because that's the best story, but also out of sheer hatred for the BoSox and the ChiSox. MCH
No, by a lot of people. Sure, the stats may be there, but you didn't really hear people toting their staff like, say the Angels and Cubs. Probably because we don't have the "high profile" ace like the other staffs. But we're second in ERA in the league and second in WHIP, too. I've always said we've got the best rotation in the majors....but as far as the best "3", we're probably lacking. But I'd stick Bills up against anyone.
buckbuster11
There is WAY to much pressure on the Cubs and you can see it. They are stiff as a board out there. It will take a very special Cub team to win the World Series in that atmosphere.

Couple that with the young underdog Dodgers w/ Manny's confidence....and the Dodgers have got nothing to lose.
