hyperflow
I bought the new insulated scentblocker boots, Is the carbon just that lil strip on top? Or is there more carbon in the actual boot? Should i put them in the dryer?
wtnhunt
Should i put them in the dryer? I would say NO. I have a pair of snake boots from cabelas that are scent lok, they have a lining in them that from what I understand is sandwhiched with the goretex and snake linings. Do not remember exactly where I got the information, seems like I asked a product specialist at cabelas, but I remember that the care for the boots said that heat will break down the boots. Was suggested to air dry them and to put the out where they can get fresh air, the carbon lining unlike the suits does not need reactivated. Kind of does not make sense to me, but that was what I was read. I have been wearing the lightweight scentlok socks in my boots. Still not sure if it really helps, but I have had deer walk across where I walked in and not pay any attention.

Guest IndyBassin
ROFL, so many get caught up on all the "products". My cousin still hunts in jeans, a green or black sweatshirt and old basketball shoes... and bags does/bucks every year. He always gives me crap when I show up in my "purty" Realtree camo.
