Right now it's the first day of archery here and I'm stuck at the house with the kids. My oldest has a craft auction today and Daddy has to go buy her craft. I guess there is lots of time to hunt, but it sure is tough staying here when i could be in stand. LOL Congrats on the deer, enjoy that good eating. Got lucky on not hitting that broadhead with your hand...you should saw out the vertabrae and keep it....I thought it was cool when a hunter safety instructor came to camp and showed us some shoulder blades and vertabra from deer he'd gotten with broadheads in them. A couple years ago I was field dressing a deer and carelessly cut myself pretty good on a busted rib...needless to say I'm a lot more careful now. Cool pics, thanks for sharing.
