JJL
I'm kicking around the idea of putting together a Realtree Forums archery elk hunt for youth here in SW Colorado. When you're over 18 tags cost $550, under 18 they're only $110 for non-residents. You'll need to bring a guide with you, Dad/Mom will work just fine. If they would like to purchase a tag as well, they're more than welcome too. But, I'd like to keep the main focus on this hunt to be on the Youth. You'll be in alot of country like this.......... From 8000- 12,000 feet. You can set up camp right where we'll be hunting or there's lodging available in town, clean- comfortable-affordable, 45 minute drive to hunting area. Anyone interested ?????? I need some feedback before I can make this official.
Dakota
I'd love to do something like that, but as an 18 yr old and a college student, I just don't think I could afford something like that. Sounds like a fun hunt, though! I want to get out elk hunting again soon. I've harvested a bull with a rifle in Wyoming, but would love to take one with my recurve or longbow.
