Shaun_300
Woke up to this yesterday morning before I left to go to the lake and go hunting. Our new pet at my grandma's, he stays guard and keeps the chipmunks, squrriel, mouse and even crow population to a minimum for us. Sittin on one of his favourite watch towers. He flew over to a tree when he saw a chipmunk in that area so he'd be a little more hidden. He made a pounce at him but missed, then sat there patiently hoping he'd come back out of his hole so he'd have breakfast. Finally gave up, onto the next spot! Watched here for a while... Then swooped down and flew right over top of me!! I could feel the air off his wings! I managed to get this before he flow over me. He's quite the character! I sat out and watched him for a half hour or so this morning. Doesn't mind an audience either as you can see!:D

wtnhunt
Cool pics Shaun. The hawks we see around here usually take flight pretty quick if they see a person.

Most do around here too William, this guy seems to love the attention though. You can walk right up close to him and he doesn't mind it a bit.
