Tink, what an honor to have you onboard with us. Had to call a friend of mine at his work to tell him you were on here. You probably would remember his brother Danny Moore who worked for various archery outfits yrs. ago incl. Bear, Robin Hood, Furlong (I think), and possibly Martin, Easton, and Ben Pearson. Believe Danny was OH state champ one time and #2 in the nation for free style shooting I think. Anyway, spent most of my life studying and hearing about Danny's bowhunting friends of which I think you were one of. Take care and Dan's brother (Charles) says "hi". btw charlie just got his 100th. deer a few wks. ago, his 96th w/bow, haha. Terry.

Thanks dawg

Good to see you onboard, Tink. I guess that kind of blows out the news that I read many moons ago, that you had died...:confused:Nice to see that it wasn't true. Tink's 69 has pulled in piles of deer for me throughout the years. A great product, at a great price. You sir, are legendary, and it's great to hear about your accomplishments. Dawg

Howdy Folks-

I am Tink Nathan and I am a bowhunter.

Didn't mean to start a ruckus when I dropped by recently.

Scott Luke and some of the boys that have been here a long long time thought I should Introduce myself.

OK I forgot what little manners I have.

I was born at an early age in San Antonio Texas

started shooting a wooden York bow at 7 (1947)when I shot an arrow into the wing of a Army piper Cub L-1 that flew over my house daily in Germany when I was a kid.

An hour latter my dad arrived with a jeep load of MP's and the arrow that stuck in the wing of the airplane.

That got my bow taken away till 1949, when I first hunted rabbits and gophers in St Pete FLA.

I Have a bio posted on my video web site WWW.Tinks.TV.

I grew up getting to know my heroes and mentors like Fred Bear & Howard Hill.

I spent lot of time with Fred Bear and twice Fred came to visit me at my old home in McLean VA.

I have been lucky to lead a life most guys just dream about

I got to bowhunt all over the world and with guys like Ted Nugent and for many years did what I loved best

I was a Professional Hunter in Africa did it full time from 1991 to 1999

Yes I am the Tink that developed Tink's # 69 Doe in Rut Buck Lure , Tinks # 1 Doe P and 135 other Tinks Products.

I was a Pioneer in the bowhunting video field and made Video when no one had Video players.

I have started doing fun videos & DVD and I am doing one right now that is designed to get women into bowhunting the right way.

I have guided in USA, Canada, Mexico, South Africa, Ceskei, & Zimbabwe as a PH Professional hunter.

I live at

275 Witt Road East,

at Camp Verde Outpost Ranch miles from

Center Point Texas 78010 3600

Tinks & Realtree share a BPR business partner relationship since Bill Got things going ages ago.

I was Buckmaster's very first sponsor and Jackie Bushman stayed at my home when he came up with the Buckmaster idea and I got him to change it into what it is today.

I was one of the first 5 guys to start the national bowhunter education program under the NFAA and i was the NFAA big game Awards chairman for 5 years under Bill Wadsworth ( d) NBEP IBEP

NFAA Bowhunting committee.

I Started the NRA Archery & Bowhunting Committee when I worked at the NRA HQS in Wash DC 1974-1976

and Fred Bear Ben Avery, Keith Schuyler, Dick Lattimer

and Col bill Brophy worked for me as I was the committee secretary.

I left the NRA to work on selling Tinks # 69 Full time in 1976

I was on the Conservation Committee of the Pope & Young Club during that time, quit because I could not get along with Paul Brunner.

In 1991 I retired for the first time and moved to South Africa where I became a licensed professional hunter on my 50th Birthday and guided as a PH & Outfiiter until I left RSA in 1999 when my Mom died.

I took out mostly bow safaris and I first got bowhunting in RSA legalized for the big five in 1991. its closed now sadly due to misconduct of US Bowhunters.

I serve on a lot of Pro Staffs

OB & H bring wounded soldier heroes to my ranch for weekend of R & R Steak dinners, archery Instruction, cold beer, and when the heroes go home they get a used But good compound bow Easton Axis arrows and releases bow cases etc so they can shoot archery as they heal

I have made some darned good bowhunter that way.

Something I learned a long time ago was this Its nice to be important, but more important to be nice. "I try to be the kind of man my dog thinks I am." Terry Rohm is our Director of PR

Welcome Tink.

All this time I thought Terry Rohm (spelling might be wrong there) was the maker of Tinks because of the monsterbucks videos.

Looks like you're fitting right in here on the forums!
