ChasinTail
I don’t have access today to any scent control deodorant. Which do you think would be less intrusive; light application of normal deodorant or my natural body odor? Its hot and I will be sweating! GWSmith
Go eat a Garlic Pizza and have them load it heavy with GARLIC;) You may not smell great when your sweating...but you wont smell human:D
buckbuster11
Real deodorant. I actually use normal deodorant all the time anyway. I dont think any of the scentless stuff I have ever used works at all. My way of thinking is, deer are not instinctive fearful of a smell like that, probably more curious of it than anything else. But, I know for dang sure they will be two counties away if they get a whiff of my human odor.
johnf
Mitchem (sp) brand makes a scent free solid. It's cheaper than the hunting stuff and does probably a better job.
Texan_Til_I_Die
Yep, hit the local Wal Mart or the grocery store and pick up some regular antiperspirant in unscented. Several brands are available that way.
wtnhunt
Been using unscented sure deodorant here and it works for me. Have had deer practically underneath me and all around me and they had no clue I was there.
Guest twinsarchery
Scent If you can't get your unscented then a light application of the normal stuff has worked for me.
ChasinTail
Thanks guys! Good to know that the normal stuff is probably just fine.
mule659
I always use the normal stuff...of course I always try to keep the wind in my favor as much as possible...sometimes it swirls and you get busted but I dont think there is a whole lot you can do about that when you got an animal with a nose that good in front of you.
