thehunter
I'm going to give it a try this coming season which isn't too far off. I live in Southern IN. Biggest problem right now appears to be finding Ohio riverbottom land that I could get permission to hunt on. I don't really know any goose hunters.. RTF
Good luck. I'm sure there are WMU along that stretch of river. Check with the DNR.
BowtechTurkeyHunter
Check out your local waterfowling shops the guys there are a wealth of information they will usually tell you where the public land is at. Steve
dogdoc
good luck--when you talk to them say "Canada Goose" not "Canadian Goose" Goose hunting is a blast--hope you can find someone to take you--once you go you'll be hooked! bluelund79
Check your DNR website....I hunt almost exclusively on public land....Its wealth of information. And dogdoc hit it on the head, once you go that first time-you are hooked....
thehunter
I believe I've found me a spot although it's around two hours from home, Hovey Lake FWA. Supposed to be "the spot" in Indiana.

stevebeilgard
i prefer hunting geese in a field. watch in the evening where they are landing. then, ask to hunt and set up in that same field before dawn. bingo
thehunter
Seeing as how I don't have a retriever I think I'm going to have to settle for a corn field myself. Still am looking forward to it.
