jbeck
This is my princess, Carlee wanted to go hunting with Daddy, so being a good Dad I agreed. We have an 8 X 8 Shooting house we use for rifle season up at the foot of the mountain, that's were we headed. We took the usuall snacks every Dad must pack, and there is a Tea Set that we keep at the shooting house for just such ocasions. That was the first Tea Party I have been to dressed in camo with a pair of Zeiss around my neck. At 6:00 Pm I told her we needed to put the dishes away and open the windows because the deer would be coming at any time. Aparently any time to a 5 year old means 2 minutes or less. LOL Finally at 6:30 I see 3 does coming our way, I let out a little bleat and got there atention. Bad Idea they were looking our way and focusing in our direction, this came in to play when Carlee asked in a not so quiet voice," Are they coming Daddy" to which I replied, not now there not. : ) Still plenty of time left though, the night was still young. Then I hear in the softest wisper, Daddy I have to Pee. I asked if it could wait a minute and the reply was I already waited that minute and I have to go NOW. Good thing I taught her how to go outside. LOL When we got home she told Mom it was OK, but playing the piano was more fun. I explained to Mom that she makes about the same amount of noise doing both. Sorry about the long post, but I thought you'd enjoy this one. LMBROF, Yeah, Mighty Moe is going to sit still at all. That kid is going 110 mph. at all times, right now she's watching Elmo and she's trying to decide if she wants to jump off the recliner or stand on the arm and see how well she can balance. Dogg6
I too have a lot of fun taking my girls hunting. I've learned to take a gameboy and cd player with headphones to keep them occupied when things are slow.
