elkoholic
With the cooler temperatures the buck are getting rutty, but I am sorry to say one didn't make it. From the looks of the remains this buck died in late July or early August as it has velvet clinging to the bases. I think it was a keeper. A few of Lake Koocanusa from the ridge top. My house is actually in this picture, although not really visible without binoculars. Not the best picture but this is one buck I would not mind seeing again in a couple of weeks when rifle season opens up.
wtnhunt
Too bad about that buck Dave. Good luck with the rifle season, still have a little over a month until ours opens.
