Strut10
Well folks............the time is drawing near for the ranks of the ultra-high performance shooters fraternity..........so affectionately known across the web as the Off The Porch Gang (or OTPG)...........to assemble in Western Pennsylvania for the 2nd annual OTPG Blast off. For those of you unfamiliar with the OTPG........we are a metallic, centerfire magnum shooters' society. The fall Blast Off is an informal gathering of the most serious, the most envied and the most seriously envied group of ultra-high performance shooting enthusiasts on the internet. We generally convene around 11:00 A.M. in Indiana, Pennsylvania at the Fire Mountain Grill & Buffet to eat like pigs and discuss all things magnum. From there we take a ri9de out to the range at the Strut10 Ranch for an afternoon of shooting the fire-belching, mudhole stomping guns that make us the OTPG. Generally, we shoot 100, 200, 300 and 600 yards. We may be able to squeeze a 700-yarder in this time. Not sure. You need not be a member to attend. You need not have a magnum to attend. All are welcomed to attend and shoot the guns that members have brought. ALL are welcomed to come out and eat, tell lies, shoot big guns and enjoy some fellowship with other forums members and shooters. We're 3 hours or less from Morgantown, Harrisburg, Erie and Cleveland. Anyone in need of directions, just ask. Fire Mountain is brutally simple to access and find from Routes 422 and 119. So mark your calendar for Sunday, November 2nd and plan to attend. We'd love to have you there!!

Strut10
Shame on anyone within a 4 hour drive of the Strut10 Ranch for missing this event. Anyone that doesn't leave an OTPG shooting event with a smile on their face just can't be entertained.

Other end of the state. 5 hours, easily. No......the 45-70 does not qualify one for membership in the OTPG (But, it's a GREAT round. I love my trapdoor Springfield!! ) Any and all who may be interested in attending the Blast Off are reminded that OTPG is not required to come and have fun. Nor is it required that one bring a magnum. Ther'll be plenty of those there for all to try their hands at.
