billkay
I've used Helley Hansen in the past and it seemed fine. Currently I use Diablo and Frogg Toggs.
Dawg
I doesn't rain enough around here to warrant such items. But if I did have to wear something, you can bet it would be pretty stylish.................. Nice. I have a cheap poncho in the back pack. I usually stay at the house when there is a good chance of rain.
Tominator
All but one of my rainsuits have come from Cabelas. One is authentic GoreTex, the others are the Cabela's version of that, I think they call it "DryPlus." My other rain suit is a knock off Goretex by Field and Stream. The breathable membranes are the only way to go IMHO. Very pleased with my stuff.

Leo
The breathable membranes are the only way to go IMHO. I second that motion because it is absolutely the truth. Also look for these features. Double Cuffs. That means inner and outer cuffs that can be tightened separately. Integral Hood. If it's not integral rain just shoots down the back of your collar. Avoid removable hoods. They just don't seem to work. Waisteline Draw string. You need to keep a rainsuit snug in that area. Velcro overlapped Zippers. Zippers leak. If the rainsuit has exposed zippers I guarantee water will get through. Rainsuit care Never put a rainsuit in the dryer. Never stow a rainsuit long enough for it to dry while it's folded or crumpled. Always hang a rainsuit to dry. Nobody's stuff lasts if you abuse it.
