dogdoc
[ QUOTE ] i want to spend the least amount as possable cuz the only way i can get it is if i spend the same amount of $ on the wife in jewelery [/ QUOTE ] at least you have the married thing down I have the optima pro but most guys on here are going to recommend either the T/C or the knight. Just get the best that you can afford to spend on a gun and jewelry! good luck todd

str8shooter48
Re: help narrow it down I have an Encore 209x50 too. There are things I hate about it too. I hate that its so easy to clean. I hate the way it fits me like a glove. I hate the superb accuracy I can get out of it. I hate not having to use little plastic discs to hold my primer in place to load it. The #1 thing I really hate about it is sitting here trying to figure out which barrel I want to get next for it. Man I hate that gun. str8shooter48
Re: help narrow it down I couldn't resist too pointer I'm glad to hear you went ahead and ordered your laminated stock set. I'm sure your really going to like it. The one and only thing I really and truly hated about my Encore was that cheap synthetic stock it came with. WABS
Re: help narrow it down You wouldn't be able to pry the Black Diamond out of my hands. I've had it for about 5 years now and I wouldn't trade for anything else out there.

SaskMan
Re: help narrow it down I've got a Black Diamond,....love it. Of course if I had an Omega I'd likely love it more. I'd go with the T/C.
lil hunter
Re: help narrow it down I like Knight guns, so I would say the Disc Elite. But from what I've heard, the Omega is one sweet shooter also. With the buyin your wife jewelry thing, you can get out of that. Want to get a new gun, without having to ask, and without having to lie? Step 1) Take ALL your guns and load them in the truck. Step 2) When your wife asks what you are doing, tell her you are taking the guns to have them appraised. Step 3) Go to your gun dealer, have him appraise all your guns, including the one you are buying. Step 4) When you get home, unload your guns, and put them away. Your wife will ask how much the guns are worth. Your reply?..... "They are worth $500 more than they were last year."
