dsharp01
Anyone have a Bushnell trail cam? I have a Trail Scout model and it seems to go through ALOT of batteries. I only get on average one week on a set and thats only with bout 30 - 35 photos, no videos. I'm using Duracells and tried Energizer but they were worse. Is this a common problem with these cams or just mine? Would appreciate any input on this because batteries are too cheap anymore.
MichiganHunter
Hey I dont have a bushnell, i have a Moultrie and it runs on the big 6v batts, same a some of the game feeders, I bought expensive rechargeable ones and a charger and I have had good success with them. I know the time will be different for different batts but they have save me money and i have prob used them 30 times each
Jorden
I had a Bushnell trailscout pro and it was the worst camera I have ever used. Picture quality was poor, battery life sucked, just all in all a bad camera. I would reccommend something else. Also would not reccommend rechargable batteries. They are good for a while but after a little while they dont hold their charge real good anymore and at one point I was recharging them every few days. It also has an effect on your cameras. Mine would not take pictures sometimes and now that I switched back to normal batteries my cameras are working fine and I will get at least 2-3 weeks out of my batteries. wtnhunt
Don't know much about the bushnell cams. Might check with their customer service and see if they have known issues that they will fix.
