Chadwick
Well me and the wife are having a "SON"!!!! Man I've never been more excited. Yes...I would've been just as happy with a girl, but I really wanted a boy. Time to head to our Basspro Shop and get some baby camo..LOL. I know I don't know many of you guys & gals very well, but I've been coming around here for along time now & figured I share the news with a great group of people. God has given me the opportunity to be a father & I'm going to try and be as good as mine was & is to me. Thanks for letting me share my great news! turningcustomcalls
That's great news. My prayer will be for a healthy pregnancy and delievery. I have two girls and would love a son, but my girls are precious and I thank God for them everyday. Being a parent is the best feeling in the world. It comes with many privilages and many responsibilites. My only advice would be to always remember he is watching you and wants to be just like you. So lead him down the right path and God will bless! Congrats!

stevebeilgard
that's great news. now, remember to not only be a good dad, but a good husband. if i know one thing for fact, it's that the only thing kids need is for mom & dad to love one another. and don't forget to change diapers. some of my best moments were the smiles of a baby with a new diaper.... Chadwick
Thanks everyone for your responses. I've never looked forward to anything more than being a father. I thank god everyday that I was lucky enough to have a dad that spent as much time with me as he did even when my dad worked some very long hours. Illinois59
Congrats. That's great. I still have the note that my father left for his hunting partner at camp because he was leaving for the hospital to see his new son. Congrats again. huntersdaughter
Congratulations on your new little man. There is just something special about little boys. I have two. I have to giggle at my dad, Steve Beilgard, though. He must be really out of practice from changing diapers. The last time he changed a diaper, he put it on backwards and it was a HUGE mess. Anyway, best of luck to you and your wife. Take good care of her and if you really want to have a long and successsful marriage, make sure you put your phone on vibrate while she is labor. My hubby didn't and he is still paying for it to this day. Our son is almost a year old and he will never live it down.
