fuzz1435
I hunt in Nebraska. Got great trail cam pics of deer on a trophy rock all the way up to late Sept. Great looking bucks also. Then they seem to quit the trophy rock and I have no pics of bucks on the cams anymore. Where did they go? Acorns are dropping everywhere but the does are still hitting the the rock. Why not the bucks? Should I be trying something else? First time doing this cam thing and need some advise. Fuzz
stevebeilgard
big bucks are smart. i believe the cooler temperatures spark in them the trigger that it's hunting season, or the change season. i think they are deep into heavy cover, coming out only at night and not going to the grain fields that they were in all summer. and i believe they will stay there and that way until the rut. mule deer and elk are similar. you'll have to find them in the ugliest, most tangled up remote mess of garbage you can find.
