Guest Finn
It's doe only in our zone this weekend, so my Dad figured he would see if he can still kill a deer. He used his old Winchester Model 94 30/30 Dad asked before if I'd gut it for him, I said sure....check the shot.....the thought that was pretty funny. There was no blood, but his Jag Terrier, Brit, found her right away. she's a big one
BowtechTurkeyHunter
LOL its still worth it shot placement or not .... I know you didn't mind but I would gut my dads deer everytime as long as I still get to hunt with him. Steve
Guest Finn
Yeah, it was good. Always fun to hang around my Dad. Actually, it was angled away quite abit and he took the bottom of her heart out....so he was bragging about that.

SpcNape
Congratulations! My grandfather is 76 this year and he can't wait to get out this weekend for muzzle loader season. He doesn't get around as well as he used to, and he don't stay near as quite, but I decided a few spooked deer is worth the time in the field with me, don't know how many more years he'll be able to do it. I love hunting period but the best times I've had are the ones spent with my family.
