ToddCountyKiller
Just wondering how the 08 early season treated you all. If it wern't for the full moon, it would have been awesome! Seen a mature eight pointer while walkin to my satand saturday. They must had fed in the beans all night. Lots of does though. But they're funner to kill with the ol shaft. EKYhunter
My buddy killed a great 12 pointer in Magoffin County. I'll have a thread up shortly. Also, a 199 was killed in Logan County. Go to www.Kentuckyhunting.com and look under "Deer Hunting" to see a pic of the 199.

My weekend sucked. The only time I saw any deer was on the way out of the field! I didn't hear very many shots this year either.
EKYhunter
When you log on to the site, you'll see a listing on the left hand side of the screen. Click on "Discussion forums." Then select deer hunting from all discussion listings. Sorry, I should have made that more clear. Being a fellow Kentuckian, you'll really like the site. David_218
I saw four Deer Sunday evening, they were way out-of-range for my open sited M/L. It's a little early for Rut and it is also very Dry. There is abundant crop of acorns too, and the Deer don't have to travel far. They are moving more at night, due to the full moon. High Country
I did not see anything that I was willing to shoot, maybe I am too picky, but there is still gun season to go. However, the harvest numbers available from the KDFWR were up. I have been monitoring them because of the EHD last year, and the numbers were way down (in nearly every county) just before muzzleloader.
