hoosierhunter
I'm goon say he didn't quite make P&Y, but I would say that deer would field dress at about 250 lbs from that first pic. dear god that's a big body.....

I'd have to agree. Kind of hard to tell though. Put a tape to those G-2's and take a pic. The huge body is making the rack look small. Great buck for your first one for sure, congrats bud. Tominator
i think the spread and main beam gave it allota help it scored 135 7/8 Inside appears to be about 16.5 or 17. Main beams appear to be around 21?
fly
Congrats! A fine deer regardless of the score. You'll likely only lose a couple inches over the drying period which will keep him a P&Y qualifier. A textbook looking rack that will make for a great mount if you choose to do so. stcif
Two things here - first off congrats on a beautiful buck! Secondly, is that an old Jeep Wagoneer? Not that I didn't admire that nice buck but I love old Jeeps. I just can't quite tell.

razortec_hunter
are you a jeep guy?? i own a 1959 willys cj5 and i'm trying to find a starter! ha. any ideas??
stcif
Yeah I do love Jeeps. Growing up my father had a 1966 Jeep pickup J 2000 I believe then he replaced that with a 1973 Jeep J 10. I loved them. I bought a 1997 Cherokee and still drive it. I have done a lot of work on my Jeep and most parts I bought at Quadratec.com. They are out of Pennsylvania. Fast shipping. Prices are o.k. Check them out. What size motor? The ones I looked at on Quadratec aren't cheap though. About 300.00 new and they start at 1961, not 1959. Copy and paste this link below. This is an old Jeep starter on eBay. It may fit your CJ. If you are not familiar with eBay send me a PM and I will get you going. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/STARTER-MOTOR-12V-FOR-JEEP-WILLYS-REBUILT_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33576QQihZ019QQitemZ290270934831QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW
