Jeramie
What ever happened to drinking Coffee or a Mt. Dew? Seriously. The Energy drink craze still escapes me. Ive never had one and probably never will. However, that has been taken to a new extreme. I heard on the radio this morning they are now making caffine lotions, body soaps, Jelly Belly Beans (jelly beans), Oatmeal, and tons of other stuff! They are even putting it in Potato Chips! Am I crazy or just getting old? This burns me. How dependant have we become as a society on creature comforts? I mean seriously. When did life get so hard that you have to Take a shower with Caffine soap, rub down with Caffine lotion, eat your Caffine Oatmeal with your energy drink, and then eat Jelly Bellys to keep you going through the day?! Not to mention, what happens when people start seeing health problems from all of the caffine? Ok..... End of rant.
RangerClay
It's all for the kids!!! I work with 11-13 year olds everyday and they are literally addicted to the stuff. Many students have these "Energy Drink" or "Monster" parties. They go, do drinking games and get whacked out on caffine. Parents keep your eyes open and ask questions about what they are drinking. I've tried the energy drinks and found out that they aren't for me. It put me in a bad mood for some reason. I don't eat Jelly Belly's, oatmeal, or use lotion so I think my Dr. Peppers will suffice! wtnhunt
Never tried any of the energy drinks either Jeramie. Have tried cutting back on caffeinated drinks aside from coffee, just cannot give up my coffee.
aujack
Have tried the energy drinks and they taste horrible. i just drink mt. dew a lot
slugshooter
I've drank a couple different flavors, and they all have the same taste to me. I know some people mix Red Bull and Vodka for some reason. I've never had it, never want to either. I don't understand the craze either, because it is addicting. I am addicted to Diet Coke myself, and I need to cut back. If I don't have one first thing in the morning, I will have a monster headache for a few hours until I can ingest enough to take it away. muggs
Yeah...I'd agree with you but I love Red Bull mixed with vodka so... I think most things are fine in moderation, including moderation.
cinch314
I've tried the energy drinks but I quit when I found out I was expecting over two years ago. I started getting really bad headaches until I figured out I was going thru withdrawls from not drinking them.

arrow32
I just drink some dew if I need caffine that bad. Some of those energy drinks aren't to bad but the only time I ever have one is if I split it with Shelby or something I'm no health nut but man those things can't be good for you.LOL
Grant-KS
I don't drink 'em like I used to, but I just don't drink coffee in the summertime. I used to pick up a 16 oz. can of MT. Dew AMP in the morning before work if I was feeling really sluggish, esp. on a weedeating day, and I would be truckin' along at full speed all day, with no bad effects, but as soon as I started feeling heartburn if I had too much, I pretty much quit. Now that It's cooling off again, I'm pretty much back to coffee. They ain't good for you I'm pretty sure, but one every once in a while ain't worse than chugging mountain dew all the time. Shaun_300
Not a fan of the energy drinks either! I've had 2 in my life. I love my coffee, don't get me wrong, but I stay away from those energy drinks! They can't be good for you.

QDMAworks4me
I know a couple f brothers which are good friends of mine who drink them non-stop. They really seem to like them and honestly they are oretty healthy otherwise, so if something happens to them I will assume that it is the energy drinks
NS whitetail
the only Caffeine that I take in is from pepsi, I don't like coffee and have never tried the energy drinks............ I always seem to have enough energy to keep me going, even on those long days on the ocean. Get high on life, not drugs ;)
