As some of you know, my uncle Gord is a bear outfitter and does a lot of trapping during the winter. Anyways last year in trapping season he crossed paths with the cameraman from the TV show called "Survivor Man" on OLN. He went out trapping with my uncle and shot 6 hours of footage to show his producer. The producer of Survivor Man loved the footage and was very interested in doing a TV series with trapping, hunting, fishing, and kind of the backwoods country life of my uncle. The footage was edited and summarized and sent to OLN, WildTV and the Outdoor Channel for review. Well, just yesterday he gets a call from Paul, the camera-man and said that it is a GO for WildTV!!!!:eek: They need to get their sponsers within the next few months and filming will start early this winter. It will be a 13 week series starting next September on WildTV on Tuesday or Wednesday nights around the times 7-9pm. Out family has all been very hopeful that this would go through for him, and on edge all summer. Finally everything has come together and it is a go ahead for sure! You have no idea how pumped I am for my uncle (and godfather). I can't wait to talk to him this weekend, he said he was so pumped up last night he didn't sleep a wink.:D:D:D

Not exactly sure what the show is going to be called, they've been talking "Trapper Man" since the beginning, and that's what the little intro/summary that got sent to the TV networks. Anyways, a few of you have been asking me about the progress over the summer, so I thought I'd share.;)
