muggs
So, now the iconic, legendary figure is in conversations with Matt Millen of all people, throwing the Packers team under the bus? I tell you what...Green Bay used to be known for having a classy QB. After this whole ordeal, it sure looks like Aaron Rodgers is the classiest QB that team has ever had. I give that kid a lot of respect. He's handled this situation extremely well. On the other hand, Fav-rah seems hellbent on ruining his legacy in Green Bay. VABuckSlayer
Nope... me either! I'm really getting tired of hearing Brett Farve in the news none stop over every little thing he does. Enough already!!!
dogdoc
He said it hurt his feelings--all these accusations. poor guy!
Chrud
His "example" with McCarthy was a joke. If a player or coach switches teams, and then plays his old team within a year or two, of course he will give up some information. What Favre did (assuming he did do it) wasn't right. He did it as a 3rd party. He left a team, joined a new one and supposedly gave information to another team. You guys should really be in Wisconsin for this soap opera. Everyday more and more people in this state get upset with Favre. A-Rod's play this year, and how he's handled the situation is making him a fan favorite very, very fast. I get that it happens, but it's not always a living legend who's spent the majority of his career building a legacy so large fans adore him. This is Favre and he's doing this to the Packers. They would have built statues, shrines (like they planned to do with his locker the day after they traded him). And this is the kind of respect he shows them in return? He's an ego maniac and I've been telling you all that two-three years even before he started showing his true colors. I mean, this isn't Jeff Garcia leaving the Eagles for Tampa and then giving his buddy who GMs the Giants info...this is Favre trying to help a division rival beat the Packers. Guest Finn
I think Favre isn't very smart at all....then he has lots of power due to his success in football and he can't handle it. He thinks because he's popular, he can do or say whatever he wants. I also think all the "yes men" around him are afraid to tell him he's making a huge fool of himself. He really should have bowed out gracefully when he retired and shut his mouth....he'd have been a beloved legend. As is, he's going to ruin his legacy with Packer fans and the whole world. Rodgers is a classy guy, and turning out to be a pretty good quarterback.

When all is said and done, there will be a lot of people who "forgive and forget" about the summer of '08 and beyond. But, just like the die-hard Favre fans who became instant Jets fans, there will be some who won't. Favre has forever damaged his legacy in Green Bay.
