GWSmith
Enjoy the happy - everything else will work its way out. And there's nothing better in life than a baby and watching them grow. Except maybe - grandkids. Thats the truth right there!!! There will always be 2 things that expectant parents worry about...Love and Money. Dont worry about having enough money...it always seems that theres too little of it. Never worry about having enough Love...a lifetime of it is waiting in your heart and will come out the first time you see your childs face. Tominator
You sound surprised. We know what causes that now, you know. Congrats man, and like the others said, don't worry, about the economy or anything like that, things will take care of themselves.

Besides, your not the one who has to carry and give birth to the baby, so that's one problem solved, lol.

nativetexan
Congratulations! Mine are 4 and 5, and sometimes I remember those times of just laying them on my chest and watching them sleep after feeding. You can feel the stress of the world go away with every breath they take, and 9 times out of 10, you will pass out with them. If I may offer a piece of advice? There will be times when your sweet wife will want to kill you. Trust me, and it may not be because of anything you did. Best thing for you to do is to do as much as you can to keep her from doing anything that you are supposed to do (take out trash, etc.) Remember, it's the hormones talking. bfletch7441
Congratulations! It doesn't matter how the economy is, or whether you're on the road or not. Becoming a dad is terrifying! Noone has ever been "prepared" to become a parent, it is the text book example of on the job training. Ben
