Jakapr
He came by the blind Wednesday. After all the "Peer Pressure" about not shooting him. I told them if he comes back I will take him. the heart shot was under 15 yds using my Rodney Wright Stalker 46" recurve. 2020 shaft with a Magnus 2 broadhead. Flintlock1776
Cool beans!!! They are starting to show up and starting to chase the does. Could be an early rut? Gonna get that entire head mounted or just keep the antlers?

Jakapr
deer I always carry a camera with me to the blind. I deer hunt with both. I took the picture of the buck while he was still about 50-60 yds from the blind. here is a picture of the same buck by my blind 2 years ago. he was by the blind twice then the first time I spooked him because the camera strap hit the case. he was only 10 yds away. second time a stick fell off the tree and hit the blind. he ran about 50 yds away , so I put the bow down and picked up the camera. Last hunting season I never saw him from the blind, only from the van. 2 years ago a friend found one side of the buck. It really grew some mass in 2 years, and the fork on the G2 is gone but you can see the bump where it would have been.
layin on the smackdown
WOW!!!! You really had some history with that dude!!! How old was he, 5 1/2 or 6 1/2 ? he looked to be about 3 1/2 in the pics from 2 years ago... Man, what a story...Great Job! he looked good 2 years ago too!!! SpcNape
Wow that is quite impressive!! I don't know who told you not to shoot him... I don't think I would have been able to pass up a shot... I don't know if I would have connected (due to the excessive shaking) but I'd have let an arrow fly. I would love to take a deer of any size with my recurve, I just don't feel confident with it so the only thing that needs to be scared of it are my 3D targets. Congratulations.
