tectonic007
I am using the new two blade Rage expandable broadheads this year. I shot a buck the other day and I was amazed at the entry hole it made. Wow! I am hooked! What do you think of the Rage expandables?
VermontHunter
I've seen first hand what these heads will do to Pronghorn Antelope but I have yet to connect on a whitetail .. From what I've sen so far tho ,, I think this BH is exceptional ..
bowin_in_illinois
this is my second year using them, and I still don't get over what damage they do. Here is the hole from a doe I shot yesterday...
heathcoerracin
all the rage about Rage is true! Got to see one in action in ohio a couple weeks ago. Complete pass thru in she shoulder on a 285 lbs buck!! And went down in sight after seein that i had to put down the G5 striker, which is an amazing broadhead also. Iveseen it zip through 2 elk this year like there was nothing to it!!!

backwoods07
Just took a doe with a 2 blade this weekend. It was my second deer with this broadhead and they both went down within 30 yds.
HUNTINGMAN
I was thinking about switching to the rage heads this year but after shooting a buck the other day with the old faithful muzzy 4 blade I wont be switching any time soon.He went down after 40 yards and had a big hole in him,I think I will stick with muzzy until they let me down witch is doubtful after 10 years together. Hoyt03
what kind of penetration are you guys getting with these heads?
Tominator
Proof is in the puddin'. This is the 4th deer I've shot with a Rage 2 blade. I lost one due to a washed out blood trail, but the other ones died soon after the shot.
Adjam5
They look like Rage has finally perfected the less drag when opening, maximium expanding broadhead that does the job well. The slip cam seems to work well as opposed to the over the top type. Dang Chris...That is some buck...Congrats again pal.
backwoods07
what kind of penetration are you guys getting with these heads? First deer I shot I got about 8 inches (hit just below the spine and severed his arteries) at 13 yds. Second deer I had a complete pass through at 16 yds. Shootin 68 lbs
bghunter777
Love the 3 blade used it last year shot a doe quartering toward went through front shoulder came out middle of the deer. she ran about 80 yards. 2nd deer was an 11 pt 3.5 year old prob just under 200 lb buck. went rite through boiler room and arrow was lodged in ground he was done in 40 yards on a full out sprint prob less than 5 seconds. blood trail on both was easy to follow without looking for blood. the buck i did see go down so trailing was not necessary. ThethirdI
Any chance to post those pics you'll take it huh Tominator?! LOL I think I would be wallpapering my house with them.
Guest splitg2
My buddy shot a buck in the shoulder blade with a rage and the arrow only went in 2 inches. I supose that would not be a problem if he was not a bad shot though
hatetomiss
havent had a chance to use them this year but last year was great
JimT
I just picked up a package of two blades the other day. May not get to try them this year with gun season coming this weekend, but I wanted to check them out. They look good, and having a practice head come with them is a nice bonus, even though i still feel they are expensive.
dbHunterNY
I haven't taken an animal with them yet. However, so far they've left me with a good impression. I got ahold of some to extend my range and I couldn't get my other heads to fly quite the way I wanted. I've been shooting about 4 inch groups at 60 yards. I've got my bow tuned to the point my arrows look like they're on a string now, but when in the air they seem to stay on target. I have taken fletch tape and wrapped a little around each head to assure the blades stay tight to the ferrule. Hopefully I'll be able to post some pictures of a good buck taken with them this season. - Dan
jdavis
I've shot 5 deer with the rage 3 blades over the past two years. Everyone has left a huge entry and exit hole. Shot a doe right thru the shoulder and out the other side. These are the best broadheads I have ever used.

Illinois59
You guys keep using those Rage Broadheads So your saying that you recommend using them or not? Please clarify.
backwoods07
I've never heard of anyone having a problem with the Rage. However, I have heard and seen expandables close after they open. It's not uncommon.
Guest Dominant-Buck
Use them if you want but your putting your trust in a little black "O" ring

Use them if you want but your putting your trust in a little black "O" ring and my friend you are putting your trust into something mechanical .. ;) You don't think that switchblade point can't get stuck or hung up with debris of some sort causing it not to deploy the blades ?? I've found more times than not a well placed shot will kill most any animal ,,, a hole in both lungs or the heart is just that a hole which in the end results in DEATH .. To me a brackstrap hit is a very high hit ..
Guest Dominant-Buck
a switchblade tip has a different kind of release no matter what it hits it opens and leaves an awsome hole look at my profile pictures
