What frosts my melons is that oil was up to $140 a barrel now it's down near $60. That is over a 50% reduction but we are only seeing minimal reductions in gas prices. They are slowly lowering to keep us all happy while they take in record profits again while they are paying so much less per barrel:mad::mad::mad:

It was $2.06 here last night... With my 8c off per gallon coupon from cub I paid $1.98!!! Lowest I have seen it in years. We have to remember it is election year and there dropping the prices to get everyone feeling better for elections... I bet soon as election is over its going to go right back up. =(

There's a certain chain of gas stations that operate across Pennsylvania and a couple of the neighboring states. In the town near me, their regular unleaded is $2.759/gal........pretty much on par with all the other stations. 3 hours east of here, the same company's stations are selling the same regular unleaded for $2.159!!!:confused::( How in the heck can that be???????? The eastern stations are just as far east of the company's central gas depot as we are west of it. So transportation distances are very similar. Same state..........so the gasoline formulation is the same and the taxes are the same, too. How come we're getting raped an extra 60 cents/gal over the eastern stations????????

I'm calling the company's corporate office if I can find a number. I'd like to hear their explanation for this.

Your not getting hosed, we are getting hosed though over here in Okinawa. Gas is STILL $4.06 a gallon because they have not renewed the contract yet. So we are paying much more than you Americans are:D. Okinawa used to be cheaper than the US...not anymore:(
