mosscamo
This is my first doe ever. Shot her Sunday October 26th at about 6 pm. She came in and circled me from behind, walked to my left and from about 10 yards, gave me a perfect quartering away shot. i don't think i could've made a better shot on her: went right through the kill zone and out the top of the leg on the other side (which is the exit hole you see in the picture). she didn't go more than 40 yards before falling dead without even moving. she weighed in at about 95 lbs., so pretty decent sized doe. DMP filled, not it's time to go after that elusive archery buck!!! let me know what you think

Guest Brutal
Grats on your first doe! In the end venison is just venison and it all tastes the same =] I went thru my freezer this weekend and realized I still had a ton left from last year's buck and doe so jerky'd 6 pounds of it on monday to make some room for this years :D Yumm!
