clrj3514
why when alot of people are talkin about goin hunting in the evening they say night? you know like "we had a great night on stand."
layin on the smackdown
i would guess that people say night because peope associate darkness with night time...we sat until dark, which generally means we sat until nightfall which will ultimately lead people to say "i went out last night and saw bla bla bla" I am not a professor; i do have a few degrees, but i do not have any concrete evidence to support my hypothesis... popgun
Here in Arkansas, we hunt in the early morning and in the evening. The only thing we are allowed to hunt at night are raccoons with the aid of a dog, trespassers, escaped convicts, and an occasional democrat. ....popgun

Hoosierbuck
I say night when I mean evening sometimes in reference to hunting. Let the beatings commence. We are allowed to hunt coyotes and other furbearers at night in Indiana. HB

Bowtech_archer07
I say night, evening, and afternoon. Don't have a set thing I say when, just kinda depends...
Shaun_300
I say night, evening, and afternoon. Don't have a set thing I say when, just kinda depends... Me too... all depends where we live is to what we say to describe things. Some people say evening, night, afternoon meaning the same thing. Some people say lunch, dinner, supper meaning the same thing. Who really cares... It doesn't mean that just because they said "Good night in the stand" means that they sat in the stand from 10pm til 6am with a spotlight... Not trying to sound like a smarty pants, but geez...:D

Swamphunter
why when alot of people are talkin about goin hunting in the evening they say night? you know like "we had a great night on stand." I dunno... why does everyone say "I could care less" If you could care less, it means you at least care a bit. If you were to say "I couldn't care less or (any less), it means that there is no room to for movement or misunderstanding.. that dude just don't care.
