I picked a pair up this weekend and wore them hunting last Sunday afternoon. It may be as simple of a solution to get boots that are larger than your regular boot size...to make room for the heavier socks. "If You Squeeze - You Freeze" Slow down the bodies natural anti-freeze(blood) circulation by compressing the foot, into a now smaller space than before with heavier socks, and you can gaurantee cold feet. Are you walking a long way to your stand? If your feet are sweating that could be your problem. I make sure that I have socks on that will wick away moisture.
