wildthing
fellas / ladies, I live in Western, PA (30 mins from Pittsburgh) and haven't been seeing much in the form of activity yet. Anyone else seeing anything? I mean...I have found some rubs and early scrape sign...but no chasing or heavy daylight movement yet. Most of the "big boys" I have been seeing at night...with a spotlight...well after dark. Any insight from hunters in my area is welcome. Tominator
I'm about 3 hours west of you, and just this past Sunday I finally started seeing some rutting activity. Saw a little 8pt give a half-hearted chase to a big doe Sunday night. Right after that, I arrowed a smaller doe.

jbeck
Little bit happening here, scraping on field edges, rub lines starting. Little chasing at night in the field. It doesn't seem to be daylight chasing yet.

Pa Bow Hunter
I'm from up around Williamsport and so far there's definately scraping and a little chasing. I think in another week or so they'll start getting stupid.
007hunter
Just getting started. I hunt 30 minutes NE of Pittsburgh and this past weekend saw some chasing nothing heavy though..
buckbuster11
2 weekends ago I saw chasing on 3 consecutive hunts. This past weekend I saw a couple of examples of bucks not being very smart. Wife just called and said she saw a buck chasing does on her way to school...that was about 1:30. So I do reckon after this front comes and goes it's going to start getting real good.

oldblue
About 50 miles west of Harrisburg is where I hunt on public land and have seen nothing more than a rub and some signs of a run going by my tree stand. I also think in another week or so it will start to happen for us. Andy
