stevebeilgard
the naacp makes money for sueing anyone, for any reason, at any time. and we taxpayers pay the bill. win or lose, we pay and they make money. simple as that.
AceArcher
You shoudln't have to wait 3 to 5 hours to cast your ballot. Working class people can't wait that long to cast their ballot. This isn't about helping one canidate...if there are more effeciant voting sites you can still cast your vote for whichever canadite that people choose. There isn't some vast left wing conspiracy in this country. Simply put the Republican party has strayed from and alienated many Americans who are now struggeling to survive economically. On November 4th the GOP will be swept out of Washington in one fell swoop.
DocMort
The NAACP put it that the most places that have not enough voting machines are the ones where most minorities are, nothing against minorities but you have to realize that there places in NY in other places that have to vote and wait to vote also but they didn't sue there. now did they. The suit was mainly in VA a GOP state that is a must win for the Democrats. The gop may be swept away but Obama will be impeached in the first 4 years. Texan_Til_I_Die
First, on the subject of the NAACP. At one time they were a legitimate organization with a proud history and noble ideals (much like the Democrat party of the 40's and 50's). Today they're a group of mean spirited has beens who are trying to find reasons and excuses to be outraged and indignant. And yes, they are in it to make money. They used to be about helping people, especially black people, but now they're just into retaining power and helping themselves get rich. Even if it means holding an entire race of people back. Now, about the supposed lack of voting machines. The NAACP is suing Gov Tim Kaine, A DEMOCRAT, and close confidant of Barack Obama, for this alleged act of voter disenfranchisement!!!! To follow this logic on out, we must then conclude that a white Democrat is attempting to suppress the black vote in Virginia. And I think that if Gov Tim Kaine were a Republican, the headlines would be screaming exactly that.

I do think it would be rather naive not to think that there might be some to consider making attempts, there was actually a couple young men caught earlier this week in West Helena Arkansas and Bells Tennessee who had planned to do just that, was all over the news out of Memphis. In the event such should occur, this country would have a worse case scenario playing out, as much as I dislike Obama and his positions I realize that type of action would have very serious repercussions and do serious damage to this country. The secret service is doing a fine job of keeping him safe, and to be honest I can see that continuing on whether he is elected or not.
